What flint is
A streaming studio in a browser tab, like OBS: nothing to install, no account.
flint puts together what your viewers see, a scene, from sources: your camera, your screen or a game, pictures, text, videos, Twitch chat. Then it sends that picture and your sound to Twitch (or records it to a file).
Everything happens in this tab. Video goes straight from your browser to Twitch: it never passes through flint's servers.
The quickest way in:
- Run the setup: it asks a few questions and builds your first scenes.
- Take the tour to see where things are.
- Try a test stream before going live for real.
Things only flint does, worth a look once you're set up:
- Auto-Shorts: your best moments, clipped while you stream and made into captioned vertical Shorts.
- Chat games: a marble race, battle royale or boss fight your viewers play.
- VTuber: a character that moves like you, from your webcam.
- Auto director: scenes that switch themselves to whoever's talking or on the beat.
- DJ visuals and MilkDrop for music streams.
flint works best in Chrome or Edge on a computer. Other browsers can do the basics: see browsers.
