VTuber: a character that moves like you
A fox, cat, robot or your own pictures, moving with your face from your webcam. No other app needed.
Sources › + › VTuber: a character on stream that moves like you. It watches your camera and follows your face: it turns, nods and tilts its head with you, blinks when you blink, looks where you look, opens its mouth when you talk and smiles when you smile. No VTube Studio and no virtual camera: it's just a source.
- Add a camera source if you haven't (it can be hidden in the scene: the VTuber still watches it).
- Add VTuber. Its properties say when it's tracking your face.
- Pick a character: a fox (flint orange), a cat, a robot with LED eyes and an equaliser mouth, or my own pictures (a PNGtuber that turns and tilts its head: mouth closed and open, blinking versions optional). Change the fur, metal, clothes or glow colours.
- Mouth moves with: your mouth, your voice, or either (the voice helps when the camera can't see your mouth well).
- Smoothing: snappy or floaty movement.
- Move like my reflection (on): turn left and it turns the way your reflection would.
- Expressions: happy (^^ eyes, blush), surprised, angry (and a cross vein) and sad (a tear), for a few seconds. Try them in its properties, and put them on keys or Stream Deck buttons: Studio › Controls › VTuber: an expression.
The face tracking runs on your computer (MediaPipe's face landmarker, served by flint.cam). Your camera picture never goes anywhere it isn't shown. Face the camera in good light for the best tracking.
