DJ visuals
Music-reactive shaders that take turns on the beat.
Sources › + › DJ visuals: a set of glint's 500 music-reactive shaders that take turns, cutting on the beat of whatever is in your mix. In its properties, tick the shaders you want, choose how often to switch (every bar, 4 bars, 8 bars, or a timer), and the crossfade length.
- Follow the tempo (on by default) picks calm shaders for slow tracks and frantic ones for fast: under 105 BPM, 105–128, and above. flint hears the tempo from the kicks in your mix; with no music it ticks at 120.
- A set for your genre: one click ticks a ready-made set: retro gaming (pixel invaders, a 16-bit racer, Flappy beat, neon pinball, a Mode 7 kart…), demoscene (plasma, copper bars, the Boing ball, vector balls, a voxel landscape…), synthwave (a neon pyramid, VHS tracking…), cyberpunk (a neon rain city, a hologram koi, a cyber city flyover, glyph rain, a mech walker, a scramble crossing, a cyber samurai…), techno (a modular synth, an acid line, a laser cage…), house & disco, trance & psy (a hyperbolic tiling, a Menger sponge, a tesseract…), big beat (laser robots, headbangers, CO2 cannons…), drum & bass, dubstep & bass (a cyber skull, wub meters…), hip-hop (a lowrider, gold chains…), lo-fi & chill (a desk lamp, a fishbowl…), ambient, and bright & vivid (rainbow road, candy match, a lollipop swirl, colour powder, a coral reef, a ferris wheel, a Möbius ring, a gyroid, a laser cat…: saturated colour filling the screen).
- The next shader is readied in the background before each cut, so switching doesn't stutter the picture.
- Each shader is drawn at the size in its properties; full size looks best, half size is lighter on the graphics card.
