Your first stream, step by step
From an empty page to live on Twitch in about five minutes.
- Add your camera: Sources › + › Camera. Allow the camera when the browser asks.
- Add your microphone: Audio mixer › Add microphone. Talk: the meter should move.
- Add your game or screen if you want it: Sources › + › Screen. Pick what to share (a window, a tab or a whole screen).
- Arrange things on the stage: drag them, drag corners to resize.
- Connect Twitch: Settings › Stream › Sign in with Twitch (or paste your stream key).
- Try it with the test viewer first, if you like.
- Press Go live. Give it a title and category, then go.
Keep the flint tab open while you're live. It can be in the background (your game can be in front); just don't close it.
