A free browser studio with guests, for Twitch
Browser studios made streaming with guests easy. flint does it too, free, and with a full OBS-style studio around it: scenes, an audio mixer, overlays, alerts and controls.
Guests
- Send a link or QR code. Your guest opens it in any browser, on a computer or phone, picks their camera and mic, types their name and joins.
- They wait in the green room until you bring them on, and you can chat with them there.
- They hear the stream without themselves (mix-minus), so there's no echo.
- Podcast layouts arrange everyone on air in a grid by themselves, and the auto director can cut to whoever is talking.
- Video goes peer to peer between your browsers: flint's server only introduces them.
And the rest of a studio
Scenes for Starting soon, Live, Be right back and Ending; lower thirds for names; Twitch alerts, chat on screen and end credits; recording with a separate file per guest; live captions; Stream Deck and hotkeys.
Questions
Does my guest need an account or an app?
No: just the link, in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
How many guests can I have?
As many as your computer and connection can take: each guest is a source, and each comes directly to your browser.
Is there a watermark?
No. flint is free, with no watermark and no account.
Guides
- Bring on a guest (a co-host's camera): Send a link: their camera and mic join your stream, and they hear it back without their own voice.
- Lower thirds: names and titles: Animated name cards ("Sam · co-host", "Follow for more") shown with one click.
- Auto director: scenes that switch themselves: Cut to whoever's talking, switch scenes on the beat, or to your face cam when you shout.
- Recording: Save what's on screen to a video file, while live or not.
- Template gallery: ready-made scenes: Starting soon, live, be right back and stream ending scenes in a look you choose.
Open the studio: free, nothing to install, no account.
