Live stream a DJ set with beat-synced visuals
A DJ stream needs more than a camera: visuals that move with the music, cuts on the beat and sound that isn't mangled by a microphone's voice processing. flint does all three in a browser tab.
Visuals that hear your music
- DJ visuals: 500 shaders made for flint, from synthwave and cyberpunk to techno, trance and drum & bass, taking turns on the bar, the 4 bars or the 8 bars, calmer or wilder with the tempo.
- MilkDrop: the classic Winamp visualiser's presets, cycling on the kicks.
- Audio visualisers: bars and waves from the mix or one channel.
Sound and cameras
- Bring your mixer in as an audio input with the voice processing off, so the music isn't hollow; flint notices music through a voice mic and offers to fix it.
- Several cameras (or phones as cameras), and the auto director switching between them on the beat.
- A jukebox with chat song requests, and now playing from Last.fm.
Questions
Will Twitch mute my set?
Twitch's music rules are Twitch's: flint doesn't change what you're allowed to play.
Do the visuals need a fast computer?
A graphics card helps. The Stats dock names the heaviest visual, and lower render sizes make any of them lighter.
