Be a VTuber with just a webcam
VTubing usually means a tracking app, a model, a virtual camera and OBS. In flint it's one source: your webcam's face tracking drives a character, on your computer, in the same tab that streams.
How it works
- Face tracking runs on your own computer (nothing is sent anywhere) and follows your head's turn and tilt, your blinks and your mouth.
- Characters: a fox, a cat, a robot, or your own pictures (PNGtuber style) turned and tilted with you.
- Your voice opens the mouth too, and a hotkey or a channel-point reward can make it smile or look surprised.
- Hide the camera itself and only the character is on stream.
Or a PNGtuber
No tracking at all: a talking avatar swaps between idle and talking pictures with your voice, bounces and blinks.
Questions
Do I need VTube Studio or a virtual camera?
No: the character is drawn by flint and streamed from the same tab.
Can I use a Live2D or VRM model?
Not yet: flint's characters are drawn in 2D from built-in designs or your own pictures.
Guides
- VTuber: a character that moves like you: A fox, cat, robot or your own pictures, moving with your face from your webcam. No other app needed.
- Talking avatar (PNGtuber): A picture of you that talks, bounces and blinks with your voice, instead of a camera.
- Add a camera, step by step: Pick your camera, where it goes, and blur or remove your background.
- Controls: hotkeys, buttons and triggers: Make a key, Stream Deck button, MIDI pad, chat command or Twitch event do things.
Open the studio: free, nothing to install, no account.
