My camera is black or won't start

Permission, another app using it, or the wrong device.

1. Permission: click the icon at the left of the address bar and allow the camera, then reload.
2. Another app has it: close Zoom, Teams, Discord video, OBS or another flint tab, then remove and re-add the camera (or reload).
3. The wrong camera: open the camera's properties and choose the right device.
4. A capture card: make sure the console or camera is on and sending a picture.
5. On a Mac: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera, and allow your browser.

The dot beside a source in the list is green when it's running; hover it for the error if not.
