Coming from OBS: import your scenes

Bring an OBS Studio scene collection into flint: scenes, sources, filters and layout.

flint can read OBS Studio's scene collections. flint menu › Import from OBS walks you through it:

  1. In OBS, Scene Collection › Export and save the .json file. (Or pick it from OBS's own folder: %APPDATA%\obs-studio\basic\scenes on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/obs-studio/basic/scenes on a Mac, ~/.config/obs-studio/basic/scenes on Linux.)
  2. Choose that file. flint reads the canvas size it was made for, and fits it to yours.
  3. Choose the pictures and videos it uses, or the folder they're in: a browser can only open files you pick.
  4. Check what came across, and import. It becomes a new scene collection: what you had stays.

What comes across: scenes in their order, groups and nested scenes; where every item is (position, alignment, scale, bounding boxes, crop, rotation); images, media sources, VLC playlists, slideshows, colour sources, text (in flint's fonts), browser sources (as web overlays), cameras and capture cards, screen, window and game capture (as screen shares), microphones; chroma key, colour key, luma key, colour correction, crop, sharpen, scroll, image masks and .cube LUTs; noise suppression, noise gate, compressor, limiter, gain and EQ; volume, mute, sync offset, balance and monitoring; blend modes, scale filtering (Point as Pixel, Bicubic and Lanczos as Sharp) and show/hide transitions; the transition (fade, cut, swipe, slide, fade to colour, luma wipe, stinger).
