Shader plugins

Extra transitions and filters written in GLSL, safe to add.

Studio › Shader plugins adds transitions and filters as GLSL code: the gl-transitions collection works as it is. They only draw pixels, so they can't see your stream key or anything else on the page. They're saved with your scenes and follow your backup.

Using a transition you added: it appears by name in the Transition panel's list (marked "shader"); pick it there like any other. Adding one also offers Use it now.

Filters: in any source's properties › Filters › Add a filter, flint's 19 built-in shader effects are listed under Shader effects, with your own under Your shaders; Your own shader at the end opens Shader plugins to paste code or a link. A source can have several: they apply top to bottom (the arrows reorder them), and each has its own settings, colours included.

Camera effects to try (your camera's properties › Filters › Add a filter › Shader effects): Robot, Hologram, Ghost, Neon outline, Fire aura, Teleporter, Comic book, Pencil sketch, 8-bit sprite and 16-bit sprite. They look best with your background removed (add Background removal first): outlines, glows and flames then follow you, and the fire needs room above you in the camera's picture.

Look like a robot: in your camera's properties › Filters, add Background removal, then add Robot. You turn to brushed metal with glowing edges and an outline that follows you; its settings change the glow colour and how much it glitches.
