Feedback: bugs, ideas and questions
Tell us what's wrong or what you'd like, and read our answers in flint.
Help › Feedback opens a conversation with the people who make flint. Pick Something's wrong, An idea or Talk to us, say what it's about, and send.
- A real person reads every one and answers in the same place. When there's an answer, a note pops up the next time flint is open and the menu shows a dot.
- Write back in the conversation as often as you like; it's kept in this browser (Help › Feedback lists them).
- Include technical details (on unless you turn it off) tells us your browser, flint's version, your video settings and which kinds of source you use. Never your stream key, sign-ins, or what's in your scenes.
Email works too: [email protected] (Help › Email us).
For a bug, say what you did, what happened and what you expected. A screenshot's worth of words helps a lot.
Error reports: when something breaks (an error in flint, a stream that fails, flint not starting), flint tells us what went wrong without you having to: the error, flint's version and your browser. Nothing about you, your keys or your scenes, and addresses are cut to their page. Turn it off in Settings › General › Send error reports.
