Clips: "Clip that" and vertical versions

One key, button or !clip in chat keeps the last seconds; make a 9:16 version for Shorts and TikTok.

Clips come from the replay buffer, which keeps the last 30 seconds (Settings › Output to change it). It turns on by itself when you go live if any control uses Clip that, or switch it on in Controls.

  1. Controls › Add: pick a trigger (a key, a Stream Deck button, or a chat command like !clip) and the action Clip that.
  2. Choose what the vertical version follows (your face cam, say), and tick Twitch clip too to make one on Twitch as well (sign in to Twitch; older sign-ins need signing in again).
  3. Press it during the stream. Several !clip at once make one clip.

View › Clips lists them, with when, the scene and who asked. Give one a title (it names the file) and drag the two ends of Keep from … to … to cut it down: the preview plays just that part, and the download and vertical version are cut to it. Download one, or slide the orange frame to what matters and press Make the vertical version: a 9:16 MP4 for Shorts, TikTok and Reels, made in your browser (it takes a moment: best after the stream). Clips stay on this computer (the newest 60).

Any clip can also become a Short: laid out 9:16 with your camera on top and the action below, and captions of what you said. See Auto-Shorts.
