MIDI controllers

Pads, faders and knobs as controls; send MIDI to other apps.

Controls › MIDI › Use MIDI devices. Then make a control with a MIDI trigger and press Learn: play the pad or move the knob.

Faders and knobs set volumes smoothly. Send MIDI actions can trigger other music software (a sampler in Serato, Ableton…): that software needs a virtual MIDI port (IAC Driver on a Mac, loopMIDI on Windows).
